These images were shot digitally with a DSLR and then edited to achieve the aesthetic of early-2000s film photography. It’s all the motion blur, grain, weird colours, and bad flash that riffs on things like Indie Sleaze and the TV show Skins.

The intended vibe was this cute-but-grunge, slightly chaotic Y2K energy, so I utilised the streetlights, noise and motion to make it look like something you’d find on a scratched DVD from 2007.
